✒Baseball has been the National Sport for the last 77 years. It became the National Sport when Jackie Robinson had his historic Debut and took the field for the Brooklyn Dodgers.
It was also the first sport Women were given their own league. In 1942, many of the Minor League Mens team were put on pause when the men were beginning to get drafted into the army. The baseball parks feared of collapsing so they began a Women's League. League play started in 1943. . 👇👇
